SHOKEMA BRANCH: INSTRUCT POLICEMEN IN HELPING ABUSED WOMEN

Last January, 14th, the 3rd Dan Shokema Branch Kenshi, Paco Munoz Barranquero, who is an associated instructor of Toni Gomez Sensei, in the Blume Dojo, was invited as instructor to a self defence journey for local policemen, whose aim was teaching the abused women community at the same time.

The lesson was in the Muteki Dojo, in the Guadalhorce Industrial Park, no5 Hermann Hesse Street. An amazing spaciousness dojo, according to the photos we had seen.

Seven people was gathered, each one with experience in some kind of self defence system, mainly contact sports, wich didn't prevent the class from taking place normally, and making people be surprised due to the technical level of the Shorinji Kempo.

The instructor Paco Munoz, highlighted on the off balancing technical basics, basing the lesson mainly in escape techniques, in how to do an effective seizing, and a few luxations. Then he spoke a bit about the Shorinji Kempo, that Martial Art, as complete as unknown for some people, but with theese kind of initiatives Shorinji kempo will make the room it deserves in martial arts in Spain for sure .
