Kaiso Day & Branch Opening celebration

Last May 30, the new Brazilian Shorinji Kempo Branch, Assis Brasil Branch, organized a training session among kenshi from other Branches. Participated in the event kenshi from Assis Brasil Branch, Downtown Porto Alegre Branch, Porto Alegre North Branch, and Porto Alegre Branch. The training session was held at Porto Alegre North Branch's Dojo.

There was two purposes to commemorate: Kaiso day, and the opening of Assis Brasil Branch.

The kenshi from different Branches had a good time practicing together, and was also a good opportunity to unite the yudansha in a high level technique's practice.

With the goal of commemorating Kaiso day, the kenshi did food donation to "Sociedade Emanuel", an entity that cares of homeless children and old people, remembering that Kaiso day must present the wish to help other people, and strenghten the society.

Here I'd like to thank the kenshi that took part at the practice session, and a special thanks to Mr. Odilon Gomes Santiago Filho and to Mr. Izidoro Yamamoto, Branch Masters of Porto Alegre North and Downtown Porto Alegre Branch.

The event ended with the wish of the further development of the new Shorinji Kempo branch, as well of the Shorinji Kempo in Brazil.
