SHOKEMA Branch is located in Spain, specifically in Malaga city, just in the Costa del Sol (sun coast), which is a very interesting place for national and international tourism, and where this branch perform the teaching of Shorinji Kempo from 1999, although its history ascends much more years ago.

Shorinji Kempo arrived in Malaga city in 1986, with sensei Jose Garcia, who learned Shorinji Kempo with sensei Nakano at Urawa city. Current shibucho and founder of Shokema Branch is sensei Antonio M. Gomez Ruiz (Seikenshi 4th DAN).

SHOKEMA Branch take part of FESK (Shorinji Kempo Spanish Federation), it's one of the Spanish branches with the highest number of kenshis in Spain, with about 80 kenshis per year and helps to FESK in the organization of special events.

There are a lot of activities in which SHOKEMA take part, since seminars and taikais organization, to collaboration with beneficent associations. Since 1993, SHOKEMA take part and collaborate with AMAKO (Kobudo Association) to celebrate the Martial Arts Great Festival, and saves all the money collected to help people with needs.

SHOKEMA teaches Shorinji Kempo in three dojos located in different places in the city and with different schedulers so kenshis can practice and learn Shorinji Kempo with better facilities. All people are welcome to SHOKEMA branch, so we invite for practice to every kenshi who is interested to know other branches and training experiences.
