Indonesian Shorinji Kempo Federation (Perkemi) Calendar Activity

International Judge Training has been held in Jakarta, start from 7 April 2011 until 10 April 2011. This event was held to prepare all of judges for facing Pre National Games (July 2011) and Sea Games (November 2011). More than 200 kenshi have been attended to this special event, there were also kenshi from Timor Leste, Brunai Darussalam, and Malaysia. All of them were participated with enthusiasm and focused to the mentor and teachers guidance.

First Day, 7 April 2011

There was embu demonstration in the opening ceremony and also donation for Japan Earthquake and Tsunami from Indonesian Shorinji Kempo Federation.

















Second, third and fourth Day, 8-10 April 2011

The venue of this activity divided into two places.

First is for class activities, it was in the ballroom of Athlete Hotel of Century. Students were having theorical material in this class. How to handle psychological maters, injured, how to measure embu games and rules of the games of Shorinji Kempo Competition are very important to be understand for all of the participants.

The second place is for practical activities of Randori games, it was in the hall around of Gelora Bung Karno stadium. One by one all of the participant should be practicing in three maters of duty, first is the desk officer. There were three persons in the desk officer they had to taking watch timer, announcer, and writer. The second duty was being prime judge in the center of arena. Kenshi for being the prime Judge should control the game very smooth, save, and also straight to the rules of the games. The third duty was being the second of judges, the participant should helping the prime judge to control the game in the corners of arena.

Brotherhood Evening Activities.

We were having a nice dinner and a great time by singing and dancing poco-poco together. Kenshi of Indonesia always enjoyed this moment to get closer with all of participant with a warm atmosphere and brotherhood moment.











Closing Ceremony

Before closing ceremony, Tsunehiro Arai Sensei was giving his speech and translated into Bahasa Indonesia with Indra Kartasasmita Sensei. Arai sensei was very proud with Indonesian kenshi because they can learn and practice how to be a good judge in Shorinji Kempo Games. He also said that this event is the bigest one ever, and hoping that by having a great many Shorinji Kempo competitions, Indonesian kenshi will be the pionir of International judges among the Shorinji Kempo kenshi around the world. Finally, Kusumo Martorejo Sensei as a President of Indonesian Shorinji Kempo Federation was very proudly to closing this special event.
