Training Camps recognized by WSKO as a study session attendance

A kenshi who belongs to a WSKO branch is required to attend certain numbers of study sessions in order to take a Dan grading test. Such "study sessions" are the study sessions organized by WSKO (such as international study sessions, regional study sessions, Hombu spring/summer training camps) as well as the training camps organized not by WSKO but national federation/branches attended by WSKO instructors of the current term.

In other words, when a WSKO instructor teaches, with approval by the WSKO Board Chairperson obtained prior to the event, the training camp held by a national or a group of branches, the camp is considered to be equal to a study session organized by WSKO.

Please note that the organizer of the training camp should pay the expenses (outfit allowance, transportation accommodation, and daily allowance), according the bylaws regarding inviting instructors as stipulated in Article 9, item (5) of the WSKO Statutes. WSKO does not cover such expenses.

The organizer is required to submit the list of participants to the WSKO Secretariat by 10 days prior to the training camp, and report the absentaees immediately after the camp. If the list is not received by the WSKO Secretariat, the attendance will never be recorded, thus the attendance is not counted for the prerequisites for Dan grading tests.
