Shorinji Kempo Spring Training Camp at Headquarters, Week D
Week D of the Shorinji Kempo Headquarters Spring Training Camp was held for 4 days from March 29 to April 1, 2006, attended by 322 Kenshi from 36 university branches in Japan, one from the U.S.A, and one from Lebanon. Nine instructors taught the participants in the camp.
Other than technical lessons, the training camp program includes a lecture by Mr. Tsunehiro Arai, President of the Japanese Shorinji Kempo Federation. as well as discussions in small groups.
Daiganto is open during the lunch break. It is seven floored, displaying the books or clothing Kaiso used to wear, as well as old publications and historical references concerning Shorinji Kempo. University students participating in the camp visit here during their lunch break and learned the history of development of Shorinji Kempo.
