Special Dan Grading
Special Dan Grading (above Seikenshi 4th Dan) was held at the headquarters of the Shorinji Kempo Federation on December 17, 2006.
50 applicants passed the 7th Dan, and 59 passed the 6th Dan grading test. "Inkajo (certificate)" were handed to those who passed the test at Hombu Rensei Dojo.
On the same day, Hokai rank of Junhanshi was presented to 37 kenshi and Daikenshi was presented to 59 kenshi.
Hokai rank of Junhanshi is presented to 6th Dan Kenshi, and Daikenshi to 5th Dan kenshi, after the personality, knowledge, and contribution to the organization of the kenshi are evaluated and considered suitable for the rank.
