FY2007 Spring Training Camp at Headquarters, Week B

Week B of the Shorinji Kempo Headquarters Spring Training Camp was held for 4 days from March 4 to 7, 2008, attended by 443 Kenshi from 31 university branches in Japan. Nineteen instructors taught the participants.

There were 18 student volunteer staff for the Week B. They participate in the camps like any other participants, but they also help hombu staff with arrangements, helping both instructors and participants.

Mr. Tomoyasu Sasaki from Chubu University volunteered for the first time. At first he was shy, but after a good experience to speak up in front of people as a student staff in the Week A, he learned communication skills and made himself a confident leader in the Week B.

Mr. Kohei Matsushita from Aichi University, also chairman of the Tokai Regional Students Federation, comes to these camps as student staff almost every time. He says he enjoyes meeting with fellow kenshi from various parts of the country.
