Shorinji Kempo Summer Training Camp at Headquarters, Week B

Week B of the Shorinji Kempo Headquarters Summer Training Camp was held for 4 days from August 27th to 30th, 2008, attended by 463 Japanese university students, one from Australia, and one from Portugal.

Mr. Nicholas Keith Sanders from Australia is the former Melbourne Branch Master for 18 years. Recently he stepped down from the post due to his professional reasons, but he continues to follow the correct path by attending official seminars.

Mr. Fernando Miguel Filipe is the Branch Master of the Ajuda Branch of Portugal. He opened his branch last year as a young branch master with a great enthusiasm. He is also the current vice president of the Portuguese Federation.

These two leaders have attended the same WSKO international study sessions 3 times so far, but this is the first time for them to get to know each other. Both of them have been deeply involved in promoting Shorinji Kempo back home and shared and respected the views of each other.
