2009 WSKO Regular Board, Council, and General Meetings
The 2009 Regular Board, Council, and General Meetings of WSKO were held at Inna Grand Bali Beach Hotel in Denpasar, Bali of the Republic of Indonesia.
The WSKO Regular Board Meeting was held for two days on July 23rd and 25th, attended by President Yuuki So, Board Chairperson Tsunehiro Arai, Secretary-General Kaname Onishi, Director Indra Kartasasmita, Director Takehisa Urata, Director Yoshimasa Fujimoto, and Director Hiroshi Aosaka. The board discussed the activity plans for this fiscal year and the future years for WSKO.
From 9am of July 24th, the WSKO Council Meeting was held at the same site attended by President Yuuki So, Board Chairperson Tsunehiro Arai, Councilor Kenichi Noda (Canada), Councilor Kiyoaki Tsutsumi (Japan), Councilor Michel Tesson (France), Councilor Timbul Thomas Lubis (Indonesia), Councilor Yoshimasa Tanaka (New Zealand), and Councilor Yoshiyuki Karahashi (U.S.A.).
The Council deliberates over the matters requested by WSKO President and Board Chairperson and give recommendations to them. They offered their opinions from various perspectives to the subjects at the meeting.
WSKO General Meeting was held at the same site from 1:30pm after the Council Meeting, attended by President Yuuki So, Board Chairperson Tsunehiro Arai, Secretary-General Kaname Onishi, Director Indra Kartasasmita, Director Takehisa Urata, Director Yoshimasa Fujimoto, and Director Hiroshi Aosaka, and representatives from 11 countries; Mr. Steven Clarke (Australia), Mr. Rodrigo Iuppen (proxy, Brazil), Mr. John McCulloch (proxy, Canada), Mr. Seppo Ruusukivi (Finland), Mr. Michel Tesson (proxy, France), Mr. Sidharta Martoredjo (Indonesia), Mr. Maurizio Carugati (proxy, Italy), Mr. Kenzo Yamauchi (Japan), Mr. Anders Pettersson (Sweden), Mr. Jorge Monteiro (proxy, Portugal), and Mr. Muhammad Djodi (proxy, Qatar).
WSKO General Meeting consists of WSKO President, Board Chairperson, Directors, and representatives from each country. The representative attended shared various questions and opinions concerning the future operation of WSKO.
