Shorinji Kempo Summer Training Camp at Headquarters, Week B

Week B of the Shorinji Kempo Headquarters Summer Training Camp was held for 4 days from September 2nd to 5th, 2009, attended by 152 Japanese university students of 16 branches, one from Brazil, one from Spain, and one from Australia.















Mr. Evandro Schuster, Farroupilha Branch Master of Brazil, is attending the camp for this second week. He took his 4th Dan test during this week and he was presented his certificate on the last day of the camp. Mr. Fujio Yamaguchi is the branch master of the Las Palmas Branch of Spain. He is a Japanese living in Spain. He helped the two other WSKO members to follow the camp schedule. Mr. Justin Smith is from Brisbane of Australia. He has been at hombu before.

During the camp, the participants were divided into three groups for discussion with Ms. Yuuki So, Chairperson of the Shorinji Kempo Group who is also the WSKO President and Shorinji Kempo Shike.











Ms. So encouraged the participants to ask any questions to her, and gave her answers from her own experiences, and transmitted her message that anyone can change if he or she really wishes and tries to, and that would enrich the life experiences.
