Shorinji Kempo Spring Training Camp at Headquarters, Week B

Week B of the Shorinji Kempo Headquarters Spring Training Camp was held for 4 days from March 2nd to 5th, 2010, attended by 466 Japanese students from 44 universities, and two from Spain.









The two kenshi from the Las Palmas Branch of Spain are Mr. Fujio Yamaguchi, Branch Master, and Mr. Juan Clemente Gonzalez Gonzalez. Both of them are currently Seikenshi 4th Dan, with a long practice and teaching experiences in Spain, and have attended Hombu Training Camps before. Their main purpose for this week was to review the techniques to prepare for their next Dan rank.

They attended Hombu Doin practice for one evening, where Mr. Yamaguchi enjoyed his reunion with an alumnus of the Shorinji Kempo club of the same university.

A training camp week starts at 8:45am every morning, finishing at around 17:30 for the first three days, and at 15:00 on the last day. All the participants enjoyed their intensive training with various high-skilled official instructors including WSKO Instructors.
