Shorinji Kempo Spring Training Camp at Headquarters, Week D
Week D of the Shorinji Kempo Headquarters Spring Training Camp was held for 4 days from March 16 to 19, attended by 499 Kenshi from 42 branches in Japan, taught by 10 official instructors and other Hombu staff instructors.

A camp day of each spring training week starts with the assembly at Hondo of the headquarters located in Tadotsu, Kagawa Prefecture of Japan. After Chinkon-gyo, participants are divided into groups according to their ranks to practice the techniques of the day. Physical trainings, lectures, and discussions are held followed by Samu (cleaning) in and around each dojo by all the participants together.
At Hombu training camps, many of the participants contribute to the Japanese Red Cross Society by donating their blood, as one of our activities to contribute to the society. In this Week D, a blood bank car of the Japanese Red Cross Society visited the front yard of the Shorinji Kempo Headquarters, in which many kenshi who support the goodwill participated in blood donation.
