March 31 - April 3, 2004
Shorinji Kempo Spring Training Camp at Headquarters, Week E

Week E of the Shorinji Kempo Headquarters Spring Training Camp was held for 4 days from March 31 to April 3, attended by 95 Kenshi from 11 branches in Japan, four from Italy, three from New Zealand, and one from France.

Maurizio Carugati (Italian Federation President) has been attending the training camps at Hombu every year. This time he was accompanied by Ricardo Marchetti (Messina Branch Master), Luca Cosimo (Milano Sud Branch) and Junko Ono (Milano Sud Branch).

From New Zealand, Anthony Corin (Auckland Central Branch), who attended a camp last summer, came back for the second time, bringing his branch members Duncan Binnie and Peter Miller.

From France, Cyrille Dal Grande (Parly II Branch) participated in the camp for the third time.

The number of participants in the Week E was only one third of other weeks, which helped them build closer relationship with each other.

The cherry blossoms in Toryo Park behind Hombu reached at their best with the closing of the series of spring camps.
